In 2006, Dan Brown co-founded EightShapes, a design firm based in Washington, DC. EightShapes designs responsive web sites and establishes design standards for Fortune 500 clients. Most recently, Dan has conducted user research for a liberal arts college, prepared a mental model for a health care consulting company, and lead the design of a responsive dashboard for a software company.
Dan’s written two books, Communicating Design and Designing Together, which deal with communications and collaboration on design teams. He also created card game Surviving Design Projects to help design teams talk about difficult situations. Follow him on Twitter @brownorama.
